Operator/Planner – Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (Oil Refining)
 Responsible for evaluating project needs and plan for the completion of each in a safe and efficient manner (OSHA, State of NJ, and/or DOT/Homeland Security Compliance)
 Collaborated with other Planners and first line supervisors in the long range planning and scheduling of planned major production shutdowns. This long range planning included (but was not limited to): job identification, job priority, financial requirements, material requirements, budget forecasts and interdepartmental coordination
 Coordinated project activities and oversaw work completion – via internal maintenance or external contractors. Responsible for teams of 2 to 50+
 Responsible for the planning and oversight of three (3) unit shutdowns and two (2) unit “strategic strikes.†Project tasks included, but were not limited to, the rehabilitation of a 1 million gallon process cooling tower, implementation of a 100 ton and 500 ton water chiller, construction and implementation of a new natural gas system for the refinery facility
