Read blueprints, ran wire, labeled wire, installed components and equipment, printed/cut plastic tags via computer program, ran tool crib, soldered and assembled all cables, secured transportation paperwork, and filled in for employees in management during vacations, which included purchasing department. Worked with engineering first-hand on the floor to ensure quality and design of product.
Weldun, a subsidiary of Robert Bosch Corporation and located in Bridgman, Michigan, is an engineering-driven designer, manufacturer and integrator of flexible automated production assembly and test systems. Most of their equipment was sent to other countries like the Philippines and Mexico, and set up by our own personnel. Weldun was and still is a non-union company. Electricians were, basically, in charge of every facet of manufacturing.
