MAINTENANCE / ELECTRICAL:
Assembled from blue prints industrial controls for plant renovation project. Coordinated installation and troubleshooting of project while designing secondary changes. Maintained electrical systems plant wide and monitored controls. Did repair welding and fabricated metal safety guards for production machines. Designed, welded, and repaired production fixtures. Maintained and overhauled vacuum and hydraulic pumps. Completed start-up of controls (relay logic, Allen Bradley, Siemens, and other OEM) and hydraulic equipment (mostly Rexroth, some Vickers, Sun and other OEM). Maintained / replaced motors and motor starters, high and low voltage, three phase and single phase.
CUSTOMER SERVICE / SALES:
I have supervised the installation and placement of industrial equipment to the completion of the project. Many times this would include field changes necessary to accommodate customer requirements and expectations. Provided field training of operators and maintenance personnel of typical troubleshooting procedures, expected results and major field repair procedures.
Performed field service repairs of industrial equipment involving areas of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and PLC controls (more than 80% utilized AB).
Supervised the product service repair department (consisting of 14 technicians and repair personnel) providing quality repairs of warranty and non-warranty items. Directed the daily activity of repairs, monitored backlogs and handled special customer requests. Used MS Office products for communicating and administrative reporting.
Administrator for service parts inventory. Wrote Paradox Data Base programs and designed reports to maintain inventory levels.
Managed return goods inventory. Developed computerized record keeping decreasing waste and utilizing inventory for best profitability to the company.
