Brought on board to assist with the completion of a $16 Million renovation at In Touch Ministries. Work included many special projects such as Water Features, Cultured Stone Walls, and Management of Subcontractors and Employees as well as Jobsite Meetings with Consultants and Owner’s Representatives. Project values ranging from $1 million to $16 Million. Jobs included Design-Build as well as Hard Bid.
• Conducted bi-monthly CVS jobsite visits acting as the liaison for Project Builders.
• Attended pre-design, pre-bid, and pre-construction conferences regarding upcoming projects for In Touch Ministries, First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Morningside Baptist Church (Private School), and North Peachtree Baptist Church.

Projects ranged in size from remodels with a cost of +/- $85 thousand to ground-up at a cost of $1.2 million. Key activities entail development and management of budgets, scheduling, subcontractor staffing, and vendor acquisition. Completed numerous restaurants with high profile exterior and interior finishes in Georgia, the Carolina’s, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida. Responsibilities included managing 3 to 5 projects efficiently while clearly communicating with the client, field personnel, and management staff.
• Responsible for managing three to five projects in multiple states with project specific design criteria.
• Estimating, bidding, buyout, management, cost control, and close-out were typical responsibilities; as well as putting out the fires of everyday construction needs.

Field Engineer
Encore Construction Company is one of the largest and most successful builders of water and wastewater treatment facilities in the Southeast.
In 2004, a facility expansion was completed that added 8 MGD of reverse osmosis water treatment process in a separate process building on the same site. In layman’s terms, cleaned water and returned it to the aquifer below, thus helping reduce the infiltration of saltwater into the aquifer beneath the southern tip of Florida.
• Primary responsibilities included; tracking man hours for up to 100 employees, gathering and reviewing Operations and Maintenance Manuals as well as Spare Parts, Material Inventory, Updating Plans and review of Shop Drawings, as well as constant coordination with the Project Manager, Superintendent, Engineer, and Project Engineer.
• Updating and maintaining as-builts.
• Producing and tracking FRIs and Submittals.
• Training facility personnel on proper maintenance and repair techniques.
