I am interested in a Superintendent position in charge of all aspects of construction and have
significant experience in the following: ground-up commercial high rise, higher education, medical, K-

2008 – Present
Life Science Plaza, Houston Medical Center ($56 million)
A 13-story building with a 6-story parking garage and a 7-story medical office & treatment building.
The exterior is all pre-cast and window wall. My position was Exterior Superintendent. I was in charge
of the steel workers installing the pre-cast and the Glazers installing the window system, the plasters
and the waterproofing, the scheduling of the welding inspector, and the punch list, as well as making
and organizing all documentation.
Calhoun Lofts University of Houston ($126 million)
6 out of the grounding buildings from 6 to 8 stories. Dorm rooms (600 beds). My position was the
Exterior Superintendent. I was in charge of keeping the exterior ahead of the interior finishes.
Scheduling the exterior framing, waterproofing, mason, glazer, roofer, roof top units, medal wall
panels, and plasters. It took very tight scheduling and cooperation and teamwork for this to all come
together.
Vaughn Construction, Lead Superintendent
2002-2008
Robert E. Lee High School ($34 million)
Complete renovation of the HVAC system including cooling tower, chill water & hot water piping, new
chillers, boilers, fan coil & roof top units. Complete renovation of all class rooms, gym, kitchen,
restrooms & offices. My duties as the lead Superintendent were to organize and schedule the phasing
of the job. And to work with the architect, principal, engineers, and owners reps. I also scheduled the
receiving, vendors and sub-contractors. I worked close with the City inspectors and the permitting
dept. This job was brought in on time under budget and ready to receive the students for the opening
of the 2003 school year. 1.3 year job.

Animal Lab ($2 million)
Complete ground up job. The building would house 600 monkeys for medical testing. 60 stainless
steel cages with running water, two complete medical labs, offices & conference room, guard shack
and gated. As lead Superintendent I was responsible for the all aspects of the job. To schedule all
subs and deliveries. Work with the owner, architect, engineers and project manager. This project also
was finished on time. 8 months.
East Texas Medical Center ($8 million)
Ground up emergency room. Basement would house mechanical rooms, Electrical room, Security
and large storage. There was receiving & waiting, 12 treatment rms. X-ray and office. Building was all
concrete and cast stone on exterior. This included drive & sidewalks. I worked as lead Superintendent
and was in close contact with the owner, architect, and city permitting. Scheduled all subs, vendors
and deliveries for this job. This job was finished ahead of schedule. 1.5 years.
University of Houston ($65 Million)
A 500 Seat Lecture Hall, 7-Story Science Lab, and 2-Story Classroom Building. All ground up
buildings. State of the art Lecture Hall. Lab building consisted of Offices on the top floors, wet labs
and labs on lower floors. Two story state of the art classrooms (18 rooms). One water feature and two
glass pavilions As lead Superintendent I oversaw all aspects of the job. Set up the Safety program for
their job site. Worked closely with the owners’ rep. Architect, Engineers and Designers. Scheduled all
deliveries, vendors and all sub-contractors. This project was an awesome undertaking as a state of
the art facility. It finished on time and won the A-PEX award. 2 years.
Humble High School ($26 million)
This was a phased job with 75 % demo of the entire school. Out of ground buildings to connect all
remainder buildings as one. Out of ground building included class rms, science labs, auto shop and
gym. Renovation of the pool & building, gym 2 & 3, kitchen, entry way, training rooms, music building.
New parking and bus drives. As lead Superintendent I worked with the Project Manger, Owner rep,
principal, architect, engineers and H.I.S.D. police. Work took place during the school year, kitchen
and other facilities during the summer. This project ran very smooth and stayed very well organized.
The phasing finished out as scheduled. 2 years.

BP Parking Garage & Cooling Tower Renovation, Houston Tx.($8 million)

Full build out of office space and lease space. Duties included & not limited to meeting & working with
Project manager, Client, Architect, and Sub-contractors. Building a schedule and presenting it to all
parties. Scheduling & supervising deliveries, vendors, and all sub-contractors. Keeping all records of
job activities and job progress.

Shell Central Business District, Houston Texas
Tenant Build Out At One Shell Plaza. Full floor build outs. Company representative for project work
for Shell Oil Company. My duties encompassed supervision of all sub-contractors and self performing
crews. Also safety, time keeping, OSHA compliance, pull City permits. The projects ranged from
$10,000 to $5 Million. Interface with client mangers, client planners, and building management.
