OVERVIEW
I have been active in the construction industry for over thirty years. My experiences range from residential housing, to light construction and industrial parks as well as heavy civil bridges and tunnels. My abilities qualify me for carpenter supervisory positions and lead foreman duties in a multitude of construction environments. My employers have consistently complimented me for my diligence, hard work, intelligence and initiative.
Work Experience
Carpenter Foreman Redmond Concrete (March 2007-Current 2009)
Foreman in charge of various concrete form C.I.P construction ranging from commercial additions (foundation walls, footings, pier caps, grade beams etc.) to architectural ramps, stairs and walls.
Carpenter Superintendent Modern Continental (August 1999 - January 2007)
Superintendent of the I-93 Southbound contract (C17A6) responsible for the construction of forty foot single sided forms as well as the tunnel walls and roofs. Superintendent at Fort Point Channel contract (CO9B1) responsible for form work, reinforcing and concrete placement coordination and scheduling of work. Construction was typical cut and cover with base slabs, walls and roof. Coordinated and scheduled all form construction, reinforcing and concrete placement I-90 interchange contract (CO9C1)
Carpenter Foreman Modern Continental (October 1997 – August 1999)
Foreman on the I-90 Interchange (CAT/CO9C1). Responsibilities included caissons, columns, hammerhead, vehicle barrier and boat sections to exits and entrances of the tunnel
Carpenter Foreman GNC Construction Company (May 1996- October 1997)
Carpenter foreman at the West Parking Garage located at Logan Airport. Responsible for work on the formwork on the double helix ramp entrance and exist (included radial and sloped forms). Worked on the slabs and beams at the beginning levels of the garage.
Carpenter Foreman DeMatteo Construction Company (June 1995 – May 1996)
Carpenter foreman on the West Parking Garage at Logan Airport. Responsible for all formwork for sub grade pile caps, spider beams and footings.
Carpenter Foreman Modern Continental (May 1993 – May 1995)
Carpenter foreman on the Bird Island Flats section of the Ted Williams Tunnel. Responsible for concrete form design and construction. Forms ranged from heavy plate girder to wood stick construction. Construction included base slabs, walls and roof of tunnel sections.
General Carpenter Foreman John T. Spinelli Construction (April 1985 May 1992)
Worked with general field superintendent in charge of construction for light commercial industrial park in Wilmington, MA. Predominately one and half story steel and masonry construction with mezzanine. Interfaced with tenants for build out requirements.
Carpenter Foreman Filias Construction Company (January 1979 – March 1985)
Coordinated with homeowners in the construction of custom built houses and additions.
