Georgia Tech MS&E – $45 Million building worked on new lab installation, and custom lab build out for research, MEP commissioning, and installation of all of the custom labs added after job was at the end of the contract. Worked with Georgia Tech Staff and researchers setting up labs in all phases of Construction and installation of the lab equipment, door frames, doors, door hardware, and security integration with all doors and limited access areas into the labs.
CDC building 23 and CDC 20 - $330 Million Turner representative with owner to solve ongoing MEP and transportation problems. Including All underground utility work with inspections by myself and the QA/QC team before work began and during the installation of Power, Communication, chilled water, steam, condensate return, CO2, Argon Gas, and filtered compressed air. Worked with all MEP trades, CDC representatives, and QA/QC staff making sure there was no interruption of any of the services needed for the existing Labs. Reviewed and corrected all door frame, door and hardware specifications with the hardware consultant before door frames, doors and hardware were ordered. Advocate for the CDC during all meetings of construction staff.
Emory Conference Center: Worked with Emory Conference Center staff on logistics and over-all plan of the job including job access, site preparation, sewer line installation, and underground communication plan for the building.
Georgia Tech MS&E: Returned and installed the West Tower Labs. Worked with Georgia Tech Staff and researchers constructing all labs. Responsibilities included:

For example, an Italian restaurant needed a brick oven to cook their pizza. Specifications and plans were given and the oven was made to the clients specifications.

In charge of all underground MEP work associated with the campus and the impact on the labs in the surrounding buildings during construction including Medium Voltage Power, Grounding Fields, Chilled Water, Steam, Compressed Air, Purified Air, Argon Gas, and CO2. . Obtained Security Clearance to inspect all MEP systems while at the CDC.
Higher Education:
Georgia Tech Molecular Science and Engineering Building West Tower build out.
$4,000,000.00 Laboratory build out on three floors on the West side of the building. In charge of all phases of build out from the layout of the walls door frame, doors and hardware with security a priority in the lab areas. Commissioning of the HVAC systems and a emergency generator. Including quality control of all subcontractors. Returned after Finishing the Georgia Tech MS&E job for another build out of existing lab
Georgia Tech Molecular Science and Engineering Building $45,000,000 In charge of the build out of the labs on the east side of the building. Card readers that tied into the security system with electric strikes and electrically activated locks and panic devices. All phases of build out from the layout of the walls door frame, doors and hardware with security a priority in the lab areas. That includes chilled water systems and on site steam generation, with gas systems, autoclaves, walk in coolers, Argon gas, in the building for the labs. In charge of shell build out and quality control of labs and all equipment.
UGA Old College renovation $3,000,000 Demolition of old plaster and tied old framing into new metal stud systems. Reinstalled all trim and refurbished exterior doors with old hardware. Reused doors and trim to match existing installation. Installed two state of the art Air Handler HVAC systems for the building. Concrete work, Civil, and underground chilled water systems. On time and under budget.
UGA Candler Hall renovation, Outstanding Renovation by The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, for Candler Hall Renovation, 2006, Georgia Preservation Award, awarded by The Georgia Trust,, Outstanding Rehabilitation Award, awarded by Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation. Installed two state of the art Air Handler HVAC systems for the building using steam and chilled water from the university systems. Completely new transformer and ran a completely new electrical service to the building. Commissioning of all of the systems. On time and under budget.
UGA Fine Arts Building, Remodel of dressing rooms. Moved chilled water and steam systems and installed structural steel structure inside building with concrete slab and new restrooms and showers with new Air Handling Unit. Completed on time and under budget in eleven weeks.
UGA Phi Kappa Hall. Remodel- President Adams Dedication. Outstanding Restoration, awarded by Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation Fixed sagging floors and termite damage to building. Replaced damaged timbers supporting the building and excavated a basement for the new Fan Coil unit. Refurbished the framing and replaced some flooring with hard to find heart pine. Installed a state of the art Air Handler HVAC systems Concrete work, Civil, and underground chilled water, and steam systems for the building using steam and chilled water from the university systems.
