Thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Earth Wright and I am a superintendent specializing in commercial construction. I have 18 years of construction experience with the last tem as a superintendent. My most recent project was a ground up full service hospital. The facility included 100 patient beds, full laboratory and pharmacy, six specialized and standard operating rooms, emergency department, imaging department, full kitchen, support services and central energy plant. The project was a three story building with approximately 350,000 square feet of conditioned space at a cost of $150M USD scheduled for 30 months completing in December ’09. As an area superintendent, I was responsible for the first floor of the building which consisted of; emergency, sterile processing, imaging, kitchen, support services, administration, lobby, and central energy plant. I also supervised the installation of the underground site utilities and storm systems.
I have a passion for construction. I especially enjoy the challenges that healthcare projects can entail. I also enjoy creating relationships with the owners and architects based on trust and confidence; this is an integral part of the project management skills I will bring to your firm. My work ethic is exceptional, my insight and attention to detail are excellent. These claims may sound grandiose, but I believe in honesty and integrity, and can provide references and recommendations that will verify these claims.
I believe you will see the value and significance of my interest in your firm. I would be interested in interviewing with you and can be available at your convenience. I have attached my resume for your review. Thank you again for your time and consideration of me for the position of Superintendent.
