Duties included standard testing procedures (Atterburg, Proctor, CBR, hydrometer/sieve analysis, air entrainment, slump, w/c ratio, yield, etc.) for soils, aggregates, and concrete, and sampling of said materials.

Worked as a construction inspector directly under the supervision of INDOT engineers on a variety of INDOT funded projects that included the I-70/ Fastrack/ Airport/ Six-points road project (fly-over, post-tensioned bridges, MSE walls, drainage, paving, etc.) and athe 38th Street Urban Renewal project (decorative sidewalks, storm sewer systems, beautification, utilities, pavement rehab, traffic signal installation, and maintaining traffic flow in a densely populated urban area.) Construction Inspector-- Worked on the INDOT I-70 Fastrack/ Airport/ Six Points Road project on the grading/paving contracts directly under the supervision of INDOT engineers. Also worked on the Fall Creek Trail, which is a pedestrian, multi-use, non-motorized vehicle trail from downtown Indianapolis toward outlying areas.
