With this letter, I wish to express my strong interest in working for your company in your maintenance/construction department. After years in the maintenance/construction field, I believe I would bring several areas of competence to your organization. Accordingly, a complete resume detailing my professional background, education and abilities is included for your review and consideration.
In my most recent position, it was my responsibility to supervise the maintenance department at several apartment complexes, warehouse facilities, and multi-family dwellings owned by a faith-based company with multiple locations in several states. In addition, I oversaw the hiring and training of new employees, and was responsible for the bottom line of the department.
My record is one of solid accomplishments and increasing levels of responsibility, including the building of a new office complex at one facility, and the complete remodeling of another.
I would very much like to speak with you about any maintenance/construction opportunities and ways that you can use my expertise in this area.
Sincerely,
Victor Morris
