Division Manager
Complete autonomy with full P/L responsibility managing estimating, sales, purchasing and production departments through direct reports while administering all contract obligations.
Key Accomplishments
• Personally managed over 300 separate contracts per year.
• Responsible for all sub-contract preparation including Terms & Conditions with appropriately determined Flow-down requirements.
• Co-wrote and copyrighted a custom estimating software program.
• Turned around a fifty year old established specialty construction division increasing the gross revenue by 10.8 % , the gross margin by 8.6 % and net profit by 7.1% my first year.
L R Lloyd Co., Inc. 1993 – 2004

Implemented, directed and managed all financials, insurance, bonds, contracts, operations, marketing, estimating, sales, and production.
Key Accomplishments
• Purchased a privately held and liquidated company from an estate settlement obtaining name brand and business records only and re-established an industry leader performing twice the historical revenue volume with a net 8.2% profit within the first two years.
• Authored a comprehensive corporate safety program which was the first to be recognized by the State of Pennsylvania, receiving an adjusted credit toward GL and WC contributions.

General Roofing Co., Inc. 1986- 1991

Responsible for all internal and field operations relative to contract compliance, production, safety and quality. Additionally directed and managed all marketing and sales activities.
Key Accomplishments
• Chief Project Manager / Contract Administrator for the only prime contract with Toyota Motor Corp. / Obayhashi. Responsible for over 150 direct employees and four sub-contractors, I coordinated with six independent international GC’s on the $800 million Georgetown, KY facility.
• Directed an extensive and detailed Corporate and Personnel Qualification documentation and submittal process for compliance on a DOE project at the Piketon, OH uranium enrichment facility pertaining to corporate financial stability, insurance coverage, bonding capacity, safety policy and personnel security qualifications.
• Identified and negotiated $26 million worth change orders and contract modifications on one contract.
• On an extensive DOD contract, negotiated the full use of existing site facilities including key logistic and fabrication equipment satisfying all insurance and risk concerns at no cost or back charge
• Approved and granted both ‘L’ and ‘Q’ level Security Clearance for DOE, DOD and Bettis Laboratory projects.
