COURSE DISCRIPTION / OBJECTIVE:
This course only covers Special Licenses not above Limited Licenses. The course will cover all Code Changes for Continuing Education Students who hold a Limited Licenses thru the State Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors. This course will also Prepare Potential Examinees to take and Pass the Examination for Licensees in such Classifications as Special Restriction Licenses to include Single Family Detached Residential Residential Dwellings (SP-SFD), Plumbing & Heating (SPSH), Electric Signs (SP-ES), Elevators (SP-EL), Ground Water Pumps (SP-WP), and Swimming Pool Bonding (SP-SP) Fire Systems (SP-FS) The National Electrical Code will be summarized to touch base with all Articles, Sections, Tables and Calculations. Note: Special Concentration will be placed on Specific Articles and Sections, such Chapters as:1, NFPA 70, 2, Wiring and Protection, 3, Wiring Methods & Materials, 4, Equipment for General Use, 5, Special Occupancies and 9, Annex, Table and Index.

Facilities Maintenance Mechanic, to include Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, Painting, Flooring, Steam Boilers, Landscaping, Panel Replacement Doors, Windows ect. Appliance Repairs, Drywall, Roofing, Electrical System Maintenance and Installation. Pool Maintenance: check PH, Chlorine, Bromide, Alkaline add Salts, Vacuum Pool, Backwash Pool, appliances maintenance and repairs, hotel and motel suit maintenance. Boilers, water softeners, rod cleaning baffles, chemical upkeep all steam valves, PRV, Spence and Traps heating.
