Track LOD’s and LOTD’s to ensure DCAA compliance, schedule compliance and provide schedule to the client (ACO).
Electrical cost estimating from small maintenance projects to new projects up to 8 million electrical, with an overall cost of 60 million. Though electrical estimating is my specialty, I am also skilled in piping, civil, structural an architectural estimating.
Using a company based program in Excel & Access. I have also used RS Means and Richardson unit manhour manuals for the petrochemical industry and am proficient in Microsoft Office products.

This includes costs for all Capital and Maintenance projects involving process, piping, civil, structural, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical and equipment (TIC) Total Installed Costs. Interface with multiple organizations to review and discuss project scope and estimate basis.
• Project Controls Estimator Dubai and Iraq – Lead Proposals Estimator- Reporting to the Regional Proposal & Estimating Manager. Estimating and cost support for the US Army and Coalition Forces, Construction and O&M. Total cost of 3.6 billion, Logcap III, Iraq. Lead a small group of Estimators to prepare, analyze, and evaluate complex cost data for reasonableness, accuracy, consistency, and completeness utilizing established and innovative cost estimating methodologies for a DoD customer.
• Use and Accuracy of the Estimate. Cost Basis, Special/Client format, WBS requirements and Special/Contractual requirements. Provide Documentation Basis, including Labor rates, reference data and the project schedule. Materials and Equipment data, including extent of quotations, pricing methodology, export and shipping costs and third party services. Subcontracts for both labor and services. Provide estimating and cost support for Site preparation, building structures i.e. MWR Facilities, Troop Housing, Runway and Road Construction, Class 1 and Class 4 Yards, Brick and Mortar and CMU Buildings, Pre Engineered Metal Buildings, Clamshell Concrete Slab and Installation, Military and Construction Office Buildings, PUC (Personnel Under Control) Buildings, up to 3000 Man Dining Facilities, Aircraft Hangers including renovations of said structures. Including Electrical, Instrumentation, Engineering details, cables, terminations and reel setup etc. Complete walk down of Projects to compare estimating with actual work completed. Using unit estimate to quantify change orders. Field Work Order processing and reporting for all work released to contractors including extras. This includes electronic requisitioning using SAP, change orders and releases for Accounting. Maintain FWO database to generate informational reports for Accounting and Engineering.
• Process Control Technology- ie: Electrical and Instrumentation/Construction Supervisor/Quality Control Inspector. Manage and coordinate all PCT construction activities on assigned Projects and AFE’s “Authority for Expenditure”. Responsible for the schedule, quality, productivity and safety of all Electrical Contractors. Set up Kick off meetings for PCT/ Electrical Packages. Assure all work is performed in compliance with Bayer, NEC and OSHA safety policies and procedures. Assure proper permits are obtained and coordinate with production personnel. Monitor progress and productivity verses schedule and take corrective action when necessary. Monitor and control rental equipment, scaffolds and overtime. Commissioning of systems, piping, including loop check and sell off to Maintenance and Production. Coordinate the preparation of punch lists and follow up to completion. Work with designers, engineers and production to resolve conflicts design or field errors.
• Preparation and maintenance of in-progress schedule and a backlog schedule of all construction and maintenance projects, planning and scheduling these projects based on priority status given the projects, the availability of funds, materials, facilities, and work crews needed to accomplish the project. Extensive experience with interpretation of blueprints, schematic drawings and wiring diagrams utilizing but not limited to Bayer Engineering Details and Standards.
