As the Senior Project Manager in the Salisbury office, I am responsible for many facets of our projects. SPECIFIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Completed a GMP renovation of a 12,500 Sq.Ft. Community Space totaling $780,000 while occupied. The work included new roofing, cast-in-place concrete decks and ramps, stainless guard rails, new heating systems, repairs to the ceilings, and new paint & carpet throughout. The work was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
• Completed the construction of a new district library as a lump sum of $3.85 million. The work was completed two months ahead of schedule and the savings on the project doubled the projected profit. The library was 16,000 Sq.Ft. and contained book detection, automatic doors, fountains, multiple sophisticated A/V systems, security cameras and a keyless card entry system.
• Bid, Bought out, contracted and currently managing the construction of a 16,000sq.ft. rural health center totaling $3.5 million as a lump sum contract.
• Bid, bought out, contracted and currently managing the construction of 19,000 sq.ft of dormitory space for the Marine Science Consortium in Wallops Island, VA. This project is a lump sum project totaling $3 million.
• Currently assisting in the negotiation of an $11 million facility that will house a discovery center, a transportation hub and several offices.

• Received HUD’s Specific Performer Award in 1989. The highest award given by the Department of Housing & Urban Development to a Public Housing Authority. The only Specific Performer Award ever presented to a Public Housing Authority in Maryland.
• Competed for and received grant funding totaling $3,750,000 over a four year period.
• Successfully lobbied HUD for the Housing Authority to be designated as an Entitlement Authority. This designation permitted the Authority to receive over $550,000 per year in grant funding without applying and competing for funding.
• The only Authority of its size in the State of Maryland and one of only fifteen in the Nation at that time to not accept operating subsidy for the normal operation of the Authority
• Represented the Authority over several years at several national conferences accepting awards of merit for the Authority. Also represented the state-housing agency (MAHRA) as a board member in meetings with Congress.
• Have served as a member of the conference committee for MAHRA
• Was instrumental in standardizing equipment and systems within the Authority, saving thousands of dollars in inventory and routine maintenance.
