Interiors projects with total costs of over (4) million dollars on behalf
of Liz Claiborne, Inc.
- Retained by iVillage, NBC Universal for the design of the President’s
Suite including the selection of all furnishings and finishes.
- Assigned to develop all furniture specifications and assist in the
selection of all manufacturer’s as well as furniture dealer for
Brand Asset Management, a subsidiary of Violator Records.
- Contracted by Conceptual Restoration, a Masonry Repair &
Maintenance Company with the build-out of their offices, including
Lease negotiation, furniture purchase/selection and overall design.
Accomplishments:
- Awarded projects for the following accounts:
- ABN AMRO Holdings-National Account which yielded over (1.1)
million dollars in sales volume.
- The Clearing House of New York which yielded a sale of over
(1.3) million dollars, NO BID.
- Cornell Medical University, 20,000 square ft.

- Booked (3.3) million dollars in sales [at] 23% gross profit in 1999.

SCR DESIGN ORGANIZATION 1993-1996
Project Director
Managed all facets of corporate and retail projects. Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Manage multiple projects from inception through completion.
- Review client’s lease documents to ensure that that all obligations are met.
- Qualify and coordinate the RFP process for General Contractors, Furniture Services, Data/IT,
Relocation Management and consultants.
- Oversee construction document process as well as ensure that design is within client’s budget and approved design. Review, redline and finalize as required.
- Review, negotiate and approve construction bids including qualifying costs and finalize a project schedule.
- Act as the client’s representative at all project related meetings with all vendors and submit written status reports to all project related parties for record/reference.
- Resolve construction issues and/or conflicts that may occur prior/during construction in a timely manner. Perform preliminary field verification work as required.
Accomplishments:
- Managed approx. 150,000 square feet of office/retail projects and responsible for over (11) million dollars in total costs, construction, furniture, IT/data and consultants.
THE HOME INSURANCE COMPANY 1988-1993
Senior Project Manager- Design & Construction Department
- Managed all phases of approx. 300,000 square feet of corporate office interiors on a nationwide basis. Responsible for over (25) million dollars in total costs.
Most Notable Accomplishments:
- Developed, designed and implemented standards for the following:
o Systems Furniture
o Private Office Casegoods
o Ancillary product, i.e. conference rooms, pantries, filing and training rooms.
o Artwork Program
o Signage Program
- Introduced refurbishing and re-upholstery of existing furniture in an effort to contain costs. The program resulted in over $350,000.00 savings over five years.
- Acted on behalf of the Director of Design & Construction in the negotiating/approving contracts for flooring,(Designweave), Furniture Products,(Herman Miller, Kimball), and Dealer Services as well as fabric, (Maharam).
