For the past 13 years I’ve been employed as the HVAC commercial manager for an add-on, retrofit & remodel department. I contracted an average of 1.8 million as an estimator a year. I managed and coordinated seven men to complete the work contracted. I was also responsible for coordination and ordering of all equipment, air distribution, etc.
Other duties included attending, and in some cases initiating: coordination, pre-bid, pre-construction, progress, & substantial completion meetings. Most of my experience is as the Prime Contractor. I was responsible for scoping, getting quotes from qualified subcontractors and charged with managing & coordinating successful subcontractors. Over the years, I have developed a sense for productive and successful work which typically equates into higher margins.
I have relocated to the Bay Area, at my own expense, and am excited to see the opportunities that California holds for me.
