My objective remains to be supportive of my employer in the facilities management capacity. I have always delivered: a high standard care to physical assets, solid financial management and have maintained positive relationships with our customers and service providers.
My strengths are managing multiple and large box facilities on a day to day basis and as needed special capital or expense projects concurrently. In addition, my skills involve managing and negotiating with countless service providers, owners, tenants and governmental parties with a continual commitment to the employer’s financial obligations.
I graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management with cum laude honors. My education included a blend of business management, construction and civil engineering principle and practices with an emphasis on cost estimating and financial management.
Most recently I have completed nearly fifteen (15) years of service with Columbus-based RVSI (Retail Ventures Services, Inc) as the Director of Store Facilities where I defined and actually created this position with the help and support of executive management.
I am most proud of the meaningful progress and success in the number of sites and budget growth in the time period:
1. Approximately 76 retail/office/distribution sites to over 350.
2. Developing budgets from $ 4 million annual management to over $ 60 million.
3. Transition from Manager of Repairs/Maintenance to self-create position of Director of Facilities.
I am in the market to apply my skills and commitment to continue in a similar supportive and critical service area. Based upon our discussions thus far I know that my passion, energy and enthusiasm will be beneficial for your organization.
