Primary Responsibility: Owner representative responsible for oversight of contracted new construction. Act as liaison between Owner/Architect and Contractors. Work with Departments in layout, design and construction for renovated spaces.

Lahey Clinic Peabody, MA (Contract: $43M)
Oversight of 65,000 sq. ft. addition to an existing facility. Review architectural bulletins for approval and implement resulting change requests with contractor. Approve all change requests and change orders. Responsible to review all activity requests with facility, department and administrative personnel and develop scheduling of same. Coordination of shutdowns and fire watches. Oversight of construction and internal budget, reporting to senior project manager on a weekly basis. Responsible to oversee furnishing and equipment installations and coordinate needs with sub contractors. Develop bid specifications, review bids and make selections for non contracted work. Responsible for ICRA and ILSM assessments, permits and filing of associated documentation. Coordinate internal IT and BioMed functions to support relocations. Develop both contractor and owner requested punch lists to insure the end needs of the users were fully met. Involved in coordination and compilation of DPH documents to support licensing of new facility, including balancing and testing reports, certificates of occupancy and architect/engineer affidavits.

Primary Responsibility: Contractor representative for comprehensive energy project focusing on the implementation of BAS systems and mechanical/electrical upgrades to an existing facility to achieve optimum energy savings. Budget oversight including sub contracts, purchase orders, change orders and invoicing. Achieved greater than expected energy savings by identifying additional scope and working with contractors to effectively implement changes for minimal cost.

Cambridge Health Alliance, Energy Project (Contract: $10M)
Oversight of the second and third phases of energy conservation project covering three campuses to upgrade existing HVAC, Boiler Plant, Chiller Plant and Electrical Services. Project was a GMP not to exceed contract with stipulated savings to the owner. Project specifications:
• HVAC Upgrades including installation of variable speed drives for fans, DDC controlled valves and dampers, air balancing and system controls sequencing.
• Boiler Plant Modifications included addition of high efficiency burners, exhaust gas analyzers, fuel monitoring valves and equipment as well as steam trap replacement/upgrades.
• Chiller Plant Upgrade included installation of a 115ton chiller and associated condenser fans for winter load use, converting plant to variable flow, VSD pump controls.
• Electrical Upgrades included the extension of existing emergency service to critical areas.

Pentuckett Medical Center
Site Superintendent overseeing the retrofit of the existing space and installation of new MRI equipment. Project involved upgrading existing electrical delivery systems, field design of quench pipe exhaust and removal of exiting building façade and stairwell for magnet delivery. Façade and stairwell were returned to usable condition within 24hrs to maintain emergency egress from building.
