To whom it may concern,
In response to the position of construction superintendent I understand you are seeking, I am submitting my resume for your review.
I have been in the construction industry for 25 years, during which time I have encountered and overcome numerous construction related issues. I like to utilize any technological advances possible to attain my goal of a satisfied client. I also strive to develop great working relationships with all involved in a project. I this manner, I have not missed a move-in date in over 10 years. I have been congratulated on several projects for having a minimal punch list. I stay on top of quality while it is being performed and utilize a task list for the subs before a punch list is ever walked.
Combining my experience, technological savvy, and willingness to succeed, I believe I would be a good fit for the position you are filling. I can provide references from past employers, past clients, architects, engineers, building personnel (managers and engineers), and personal. I am very excited to hear from you as I believe I would be a valuable member of your team.
Please let me know if you have any questions about my resume. I can be contacted via email at okh2[at]tx.rr.com, or by telephone at 214-769-2630 to set up an interview. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Keith Hancock

Objective To gain meaningful employment with a company that can prosperously utilize my skills, knowledge, and experience in the construction industry.
Functional summary I was raised with a strong work ethic. I consider a job well done when I have a satisfied client willing to recommend myself and my construction team for future work. This is more motivational than a paycheck. On a more personal level, I consider my ‘people’ skills a strong asset. I am equally confident in relating to laborers on the job-site up to property managers and owners. I have extensive experience in interior finish outs from the $30K range up to very detail oriented level 5 finishes in the $8m range. In past projects, I have shown many ‘it can’t be done’ people wrong. Along with my hands on experience in the drywall industry, I also employ skills I learned in college. I am adept with computers and have been utilizing my own laptop and digital camera on-site for a number of years now.
