SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Created innovative airport solution. Gensler client, American Airlines, wanted to expand their international markets at LAX. Working with another air carrier client, demonstrated how a joint facility could work, developing a 50,000+ sf project including expansion for both carriers and saving significant resources for all parties.
Designed plans for project hampered by limited budget and tight schedule. School District working with BCA needed to quickly remodel several schools with limited funds. Took charge of bidding process, enabling appropriate contractor selection. Secured District buy-in on plans, completing construction within both timeline and budget.
Led commercial/municipal project. Nelson client, HSBC, needed to locate several sites for new branch bank facilities. Met with city officials and contractors to determine land availability, land usage guidelines and cost control strategies. Secured agreement on sites, building designs and schedule, enabling bank expansion and city profit.
Oversaw large-scale project design and implementation. Several school projects, upwards of 100,000sf for Kasavan were in urgent need of completion, requiring the highest QC construction standards.
