• Estimated material quantities, Checked for pricings and prevailing wage rates associated with change order claims. Reviewed contract specs and documents, checked and analyzed the change order to determine the exact limit of the change. Reviewed and evaluated contractor’s change proposals to determine its conformance to the scope of work, check labor productivities, rates, check equipment rates, material quantities and prices.
• Negotiated Change order by line items as well as the bottom line cost with General Contractor and Subcontractors.
• Worked with the IOR and other inspectors, Architects, Structural and MEP Engineers reviewing and analyzing change orders requests for merit.
• Kept the change orders under 10 percent of the contract agreement. With team effort, Change orders were kept under 8 percent.
