Senior National Facilities Manager (Position was eliminated)
Responsible for facilities oversight of 26 call centers, 19 remotely managed, with over 1,400,000 sq. ft., total yearly operating budget of 26m, capital budget of 3.5m. Provided direction and leadership to a staff of 15 site managers and indirect staff of 90. Traveled to each remote site on a quarterly basis or as business required. Successfully hired, coached, and developed departmental staff. Self directed and successful at managing multiple priorities.
Experienced with call center environment and processes which included emergency power systems, UPS back-up, redundant HVAC, redundant UPS systems, and FM-200 fire suppression systems for site data centers. Insured all critical systems were maintained, tested, and operational at all times. Set up remote monitoring of emergency systems (generators, UPS systems, HVAC).
Extensive knowledge of financial processes including Budgeting, P&L, and Capital Planning. Responsible for preparation and adherence to operational and capital budgeting for new and existing centers. Directed onsite management for the opening of 9 sites. Provided management with site infrastructure reviews which included; capital improvements and costs necessary to meet client specifications and existing company standards in order to insure smooth transitions during 12 acquisitions. Worked through Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization January through June 2008, during which I was responsible for the closure of 10 sites. Worked to rebuild vendor trust, arranged alternative payment processes for critical vendors and established relationships with new vendors as necessary while meeting all time lines.
Established strong working relationships with vendors, and bundled services where applicable to insure best pricing. Worked to insure exemplary service where response time was critical to the viability of the business, specifically with respect to emergency power systems. Critical vendor response time was maintained at one hour or less. Business continuity was maintained at exceptional levels.
