I have started companies, turned around operations and directed cost-effective internal and field operations. By forging successful relationships with vendors, owners, subcontractors and employees, I ensured projects were completed on time and under budget.
My titles have included General Manager and Executive Manager, where I have been responsible for full P&L. I also directed all aspects of operations, architecture, structural engineering, interior design, sales, marketing, land acquisitions and negotiations.

Directed completion of large-scale commercial project. Asked to create Cornerstone Homes to support new venture and build 60 homes. Developed business plan. Established office and field operation procedures. Instituted aggressive sales plan, allowing company to operate in competitive environment. Generated $11M in first 18 months, far above plan.
Launched Successful Sales And Marketing Campaign, Raising Sales. Cornerstone’s owner averaged two sales per month. Created and launched marketing campaign. Developed and published marketing collateral including magazines, signage, news papers and website. Executed sales training and increased sales to 4.5 per month.
Maximized Profits By Establishing Solid Vendor Relationships. Upon starting Cornerstone, quickly identified an opportunity to increase profits by enlisting help of new vendors. Negotiated prices based on projected volume. Gained competitive edge in the market and boosted profits 20%.
Opened New Revenue Stream. Cornerstone had few products in which to compete in the market. Conducted market research and discovered untapped niche for which demand was high. Expanded product offerings for this targeted base. Increased company awareness. Tripled ability to seize significantly larger part of company’s buyer profile.
Turned Around Operations. Cornerstone Sales had dropped because of national market conditions. Identified areas to reduce costs without jeopardizing quality. Selected new less expensive materials, renegotiated prices with existing vendors and reduced costs 5%, sustaining expected profit margins while competitors were folding.

Senior Manager, Cornerstone Homes and Development, LLC., 2003 to 2009. Held full P&L responsibility for this residential home building and land development company. Oversaw operations architecture, structural engineering, interior design, sales, marketing, land acquisition and negotiations. Managed nine employees and more than 350 projects.
Senior Manager, United Western Development / Pacific NW Homes Construction, 1998 to 2003. Managed land development and building of this commercial construction and development company. Created and implemented policies and procedures to support growth. Directed purchasing, vendor relations, office and field operations.
