Head of civil engineering, C&S department. Prepare tenders and bids throughout all of Ireland. Provide technical expertise for sustainable projects. Accountabilities include overseeing the civil engineering works for infrastructure, residential, resort, commercial, retail and mixed-use land development projects throughout Ireland. Act as Project Coordinator for large scale land development projects, coordinating the multi-disciplined services offered by WYG. These services include civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, fire engineering, sustainability, healthy and safety, and environmental services (waste management, contaminated lands, ecology, water services). Supervise a team of civil engineers, designers, AutoCAD drafters, and land surveyors to research properties for development feasibility. Design surface water systems in accordance with GDSDS incorporating the latest in SuDS designs. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with land owners, land brokers, land developers, architects, contractors, colleagues, and statutory bodies. Prepare and manage budgets and project schedules. Most recently, I am overseeing the civil works and multi-disciplined coordination of a ˆ650,000,000 multi-use master-planned development in Dublin. In addition, I am participating on several PPP School projects, overseeing several residential subdivisions throughout the greater Dublin area and expansion of Ashford Castle, a resort in Co.
