Repair/replace exterior siding, roof as needed for over 520 housing units. Tear-out of water damaged walls and sheetrock; replace the same. Priorities and scheduling of subcontractors were critical to the moving-in of displaced aviators and officers from the hurricane.
* Contract No. 1443C5010010906, Cane River Creole, Oakland Site Utilities, Phase II, Natchez, LA. This project was issued by the National Park Service in Denver, Colorado. General construction of three (3) leach field septic systems, one (1) in-ground septic treatment tank and all related electrical work, fire hydrant system and underground conduit for future fire and security detection and telephone systems. Project contract value $211,997.00.
Detailed CAD Design – Design/Build Projects
* Contract No. 1443C5010010902, Jean Lafitte National Historic Park & Preserve, New Orleans, LA. This project was issued by the National Park Service in Denver, Colorado. Project included the design and construction of interior steel framing to strengthen a historic French Quarter building and the final design and finishing of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor offices totaling 45,000 square feet. Project contract value $1,297,512.00.
* Contract No. DACW29-02-P-0184, Installation of New Sanitary Sewer System, Freshwater Bayou, LA. This project was issued by the USDA in Alexandria, LA. This contract consisted of constructing bathrooms on the outside of two existing buildings, install two sewage treatment plants, lift stations and all associated piping. As the CEO and CADD manager for the first three years for all projects awarded to CIT, Inc.; two of our major clients were:
* Herman J. Schellstede & Associates, Inc. Between 1995 thru 1998 numerous large-scale oil & offshore related projects were contracted. Provided an exclusive drafting service for Herman J. Schellstede & Associates’ engineering company. The largest project we undertook was the harbor design/drafting and all appurtences for the Hainan Island in the South China Sea for ARCO Oil & Gas. Managed three crews, 4 CAD operators per crew, working in 8 hour shifts, 24/7. Designs included docks, small cranes, crew boat & barge designs, boat lifting cradles and a massive crane crawler.
* IEW Compression. This is an oil service company which builds and maintains gas/diesel generator sets. Work was contracted to complete drawings from sketches and redlines from the service engineers. Drawing disciplines ranged from structural skids, electrical/pneumatic panel designs to the as-builts of completed structural skids including all piping, panel designs and related equipment. Company was bought out in 2000 by Universal Compression. Proceeded to complete drawings for Universal Compression.
