SENIOR SUPERINTENDENT
Plan, organize and manage the overall aspects of Client Services and Communication for on- site
construction projects, for a start-up design building firm whose company headquarters were based in
Woodstock, GA, that generated $80-100 million/per year. Responsibilities include design and blueprint
review and analysis of projects, preparation of construction documents, bidding, negotiations, subcontractor
selection, material purchasing, scheduling, project budget, building code compliance, project
development, quality control and certification of occupancy. Supervised a crew of 75-100 workers.
KEY PROJECTS AND SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• VersaCold, Winnipeg, Canada - Managed the overall construction development of 135,000 sq. ft. freezer and
support addition to an equal sized facility. This included shipping and receiving loading docks, support offices a new
pump house and completely new underground fire protection and domestic water services. Premium features
included shrink compensating slabs and energy efficient fluorescent lighting. $25M project; completed on-time
within budget. Challenge: Nasty winter months with minus 50 degree temperatures.
• SYSCO Foods, Atlanta, GA - Oversaw freezer/cooler renovation and expansion project. Removal of rail spur
and complete truck site paving overlay restoration. New refrigeration room and system for entire facility that included
upgrading compressors with variable speed drivers and current quantum LX controllers. Over 17,000 sq. ft. of new
variable temperature cooler with shrink compensating slabs and T8 fluorescent lighting systems

• Gold’s Gym, Woodstock, GA – Took project over to complete 71,000 sq. ft., two story, state of the art super
center. Facility can manage 500 members at any given time. $7M project completed on time.
• US Cold Storage, Warsaw, NC – Existing refrigeration room modified to accommodate 62,000 sq. ft. addition
and upgraded to current standards. $10M project completed on time, within budget with no issues.
• VersaCold, Gouldsboro, PA – Completion of a 345,000 sq. ft. Greenfield freezer facility. Over 50,000 sq. ft. of
refrigerated loading dock with 45,000 sq. ft. ancillary space consisting of an engine room, battery charging and office
support area. This project included an ice making facility within the plant. $26M; on time within budget.
Challenge: Terrible winter conditions, extreme cold wind due to location in Pocono Mountains.
• Choice One Foods, Los Angeles, CA – Project never completed as client went out of business. All was on
schedule and under budget.
Facility Group, Smyrna, GA 1994 – 2005
SUPERINTENDENT/CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/DIRECTOR OF FIELD OPERATIONS
Managing all phases of multimillion dollar construction projects while maintaining quality and cost
control for a GA construction company ($200-300 million/per year). Traveled to/from multiple projects.
Oversight of field personnel that included training and monitoring team members, conducting
performance evaluations and weekly meetings with sub-contractors. Reviewed and approved expense
reports and payroll. Estimating time and material costs.

• Commenced projects on West Coast. Lucky Foods, San Leandro, CA - 1M sq. ft. building - $40M, 2
year project
• Waremart Foods, Portland Oregon – 1M sq. ft building. $40M- 2 year project.
• Giant Foods, Baltimore, MD – $40M project; on-time below budget, savings returned to client.
Challenge: Worst winter weather that year since the 1800’s.
