 Designed and constructed melamine forms for two 3’ by 3’ by 3’ concrete cubes with foam inserts and integral pallets.
 Coordinated the concrete pour and prepped the base for steel anchor system.

 Buying, remodeling and renting single family houses in up and coming neighborhoods near downtown Austin.
 Since 1999 I have bought one house a year and all together my portfolio is positively cash-flowing.
 I prefer buying existing houses with the idea of maintaining the original character of the house and therefore the neighborhood, but completely updating the interior to provide a refined and exceptional rental space.
 Acting as the finance, design and production manager of these houses has given me a strong appreciation for all sides of the client, architect, and builder dynamic.
 My first house was a total remodel. I redesigned it as an art studio or gallery. It currently houses an art gallery that has received national press.

 Worked with wood, steel and concrete under the tutelage of a structural engineer who also holds a Ph.D. in project management.
 Performed as one of the main production and “go to†carpentry crews for custom home builder Don Crowell (www.crowellfinehomes.com), also taking care of all the miscellaneous jobs that fall in between the major subs.
 Headed a crew of three to six carpenters framing a high-end 18,000 sq./ft house.
 Responsible for building custom Douglas-Fir ceiling and eaves made out of large timbers (8â€by12†and 8â€by 16â€).
 Shimmed up an entire complex roof (4,000 sq./ft.) to prepare for slate shingles.
 Responsible for communicating with the architects about errors and omissions in the drawings.
 Responsible for figuring out how to actually build what was drawn.
