Due to cancellation of other projects, because of the current economic situation, I was moved to the estimation department, and worked on a team compiling large, very complex mechanical/ plumbing bids. My role included securing pricing from subcontractors and suppliers and using the best pricing to submit the best quotation possible. My communication skills and knowledge of the various system’s parts and pieces helped me to obtain and interpret the best possible pricing.

 Hired to manage a large hotel project and did all material take offs, subcontractor acquisition, submittals, ordering of materials, scheduling, value engineering and job start up, but was reassigned to assuming management of a multi-million dollar “problem†project that had been mismanaged for months.
