South Shore Charter School – Facilities Mgr. / Electrician / Lead Mechanic 2005- 09 Achievements involved all aspects of facilities maintenance with extensive upgrades in which I improved the building to its highest level to date. One of my major projects was to be the electrical contractor for the new science lab and new additional classroom. I also wired the entire building (previously wireless) with CAT6 data. Some of my other achievements included:

I performed residential and commercial electrical installations which included several kitchen remodels, service changes, swimming pools, power, lighting and data wiring as well as excellent customer service. Also, I provided quotes, purchased electrical supplies and completed installations in a timely and craftsmanship manner.
Serono Inc – Facilities Administrator / Electrician / Lead Mechanic 1991-04
During my thirteen years at the biotechnology company I was promoted four times and was in charge of maintenance for six facilities which included laboratories, distribution center, GMP production and office buildings. I had a major role in the coordination of the move into their new 200,000 sq. ft. facility from the above noted buildings, as well as management of the facilities staff, outside vendors and contractors in all maintenance operations including building renovations. I provided contractors with scope of work guidelines for request for proposals (RFP’s) for construction projects and preventative maintenance contracts which included negotiating contracts, setting up purchase orders, managing and monitoring maintenance budgets, implementing preventative maintenance programs, writing standard operating procedures (SOP’s), safety compliance, purchasing of maintenance supplies and supervision of all projects until completion. My responsibilities also involved being experienced with Johnson Controls Metasys EMS, Datastream CMMS, OSHA and HAZCOM.
This position required explicit knowledge of all building trades in order to perform the maintenance of multiple facilities and scientific laboratory equipment which included cell banks, LN2 cryo tanks, bio reactors, mass spec, low temperature freezers, gas systems, cold/ warm rooms, waste neutralization, centerfuges, vacuum systems, boiler room operations, RODI water systems, clean rooms, autoclaves/glass washers, as well as the animal facility.
