SUMMARY
From 1988 until 1997 I worked in the Mechanical side of Health Care Engineering, and on routine day to day activities.
Starting in 1997. I started working on Policy/Procedure review and rewrites that had to be AHJ (CMS, DHEC, TJC, and OSHA) approved. Policies to my credit are the following Asbestos Program, Building Compartmentalization and BMP Program, Confined Space, Life Safety Management Program (TJC), LockOut/TagOut. I have overseen the maintenance in our satellites buildings, and Code compliance. I am a NIULPE trained Power Engineer and have certification. I feel I am a no nonsense strong leader with 22 years of Health Care experience. I am presently the President of SCSHE (South Carolina Society Health Care Engineers). My interests have gone from just Facilities into the Safety aspects of Health Care also. I have pursued and achieved my CHSP and CHEP.
