My proudest accomplishment is that I maintain a perfect safety record on the projects I’ve supervised. By means of value engineering and scope review, I saved the Whitehall Hotel over $20,000, countless hours on the project schedule and endless conflicts with hotel operations. Through negotiation with the Vernon Hills building commissioner, I saved The Vernon Hills Town Centers’ contractor over $30,000 in additional fire protection costs. By creative scheduling and subcontractor/client motivating, while supervising the renovation of the Westin Hotel, Princeton NJ. I created float in a critical path schedule, and eventually saved the contractor $40,000 in L.D’s when that time was later needed.
