• Motiva Crude Expansion Project (Port Arthur, Texas): Project
Superintendent of a 23,400 Sq. Ft. Control Building, ground up
project.
Moorhouse Construction Houston, Texas 1989-2007
• Castro Cheese Company Building Renovations (Houston, TX):
Assistant Superintendent of extensive interior and exterior
renovations to a 35,000 SF food manufacturing facility. Scope
included all major interior and selected exterior trades (roofing, steel
and site work). The project was completed within the 10 month
schedule and budget.
• Ethyl Laboratory (Pasadena, TX): assistant Superintendent of
18,000 SF laboratory at a petrochemical refinery; scope included
specialty equipment, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, flooring and
casework packages. The project was completed within the schedule
and budget.
• BP-Amoco Multi-Building Renovations (Texas City, TX):
Superintendent and Quality Assurance/Control of three-building
(MCC and Support) renovation package at a petrochemical plant.
Each building was approximately 3,000 SF; scope work included
renovations to MEP system, access floors, telecommunications
system, general office upgrades, exterior doors and
masonry/concrete. The project was completed within the 8-month
schedule and budget.
• BP-Amoco Central Control Building and Laboratory (Texas City,
TX): Superintendent and Quality Assurance/Control for state of the
art 15,000 SF masonry control building and 6,000 SF laboratory
located within a major petrochemical refinery; scope included fiber
optics, specialty access flooring, blast-proof doors and casework
packages. The project was completed within schedule and budget.
• BP-Amoco Control Building Renovations (Pasadena, TX):
Superintendent, Quality Assurance/Control of 3,000 SF interior and
exterior renovations to Control Building at petrochemical plant.
Scope included standard interior trades, specialty suppliers for
access flooring and casework and exterior masonry. The project
was completed within the schedule and budget.
• BP Commons Control Building (Chocolate Bayou, TX): Project
Manager and Quality Assurance/Control of a 17,000 SF Blast
Resistant Control Building. This project scope included site work,
foundations, building exterior of (pre-cast walls) HVAC, electrical,
fire protection, plumbing and interior/exterior finishes. The project
was completed within the schedule and budget.
• UTMB Staff Lounge and Locker Room (Galveston, TX): Project
Superintendent, Quality Assurance/Control of 8,400 SF elevated
structure with loading dock facility underneath. Scope included site
work, foundation, building exterior (stucco exterior walls) electrical,
HVAC, fire protection, plumbing and interior/exterior finishes. The
project was completed within the schedule and budget.
• Valero Substation (Port Arthur, TX): Superintendent, Quality
Assurance/Control of 9,600 SF masonry substation building located
within a petrochemical refinery; scope included electrical, HVAC,
blast proof doors and casework specialty packages. The project was
completed ahead of schedule and within the allowed budget.
