This letter is to express my interest in estimating/project management positions available in the utility/heavy construction field. Based on my engineering background and my skills in heavy construction management and cost estimating, I am confident that I would be a great addition to your team.
During my time at A.P. Croll & Son, Inc., I have been able to competitively bid and procure utility projects on the Eastern Shore region. While at Hopkins Construction, I was in charge of operations while directly overseeing the installation of the infrastructure for a 960-acre residential subdivision in challenging soil conditions for Centex Homes. Due to the booming housing market at that time, we were forced to meet the tight schedule deadlines imposed by the sales strategy of the homebuilders. Also while at Hopkins Construction, I bid on water and wastewater treatment plant projects as well as executed several mechanical piping projects for the poultry industry on the Eastern Shore region. I feel those experiences are a few of the many that helped give me the background necessary to be a great asset to your company.
I am excited to discuss any available estimator/management positions and the ability to help your company succeed. Thank you in advance for your time. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I would appreciate the opportunity to review my qualifications in more detail.
Sincerely,
Geoffrey H. Reichelt, P.E.
