• Meeting with client to develop design programs and schematics that satisfied the needs of the client for both new projects and remodels of existing buildings, and coordinating with contractors and clients to ensure timely completion of a project, within budgetary constraints. In each case utilizing budget and 3D methods to accomplish the clients desired design needs. Design Development was accomplished through both hand drawings and computer added rendering programs.
• I was responsible for material research for specification and code requirements as well as ADA, city, state and federal code requirements for the location. I also corresponded with city and state officials on all code related issues that might arise.
• I coordinated with MEP and a Structural consultant to create accurate CD’s to be submitted for client approval and the bidding process. This included doing CAD drawings and redlining submitted cad drawings from consultants and returning corrections to the appropriate consultant for correction if needed.
• My duties also include following the project from the concept stage through to the completion of the project, including site visits to monitor the construction phase of the project. I also dealt with RFQ’s, Change orders, punch lists and other related project management office needs.

• I was an Independent Designer for a local charity organization on a remodel for 11/06 to 03/07
an existing building purchased for use as a halfway home for young adults.
• Developing schematics plans for the remodeling while addressing budget and code requirements that might affect the design of the project.
• I developed preliminary design concepts and construction documents for the client to consult with a contractor for future construction.
