Dear Human Resources Director,
I have 40+ years in the Electrical industry from working for my father which owned the company Austin Bros. in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. I later became the Owner Myself at a very young age and ran the company with multiple employees and had done so successfully for over 15 years. 1995 I sold the company and moved to Ohio.
Once I sold my company I decided I would not go back into business for myself as it is very difficult. I am searching for steady employment and would like to be employed by a company and have benefits.
Over the past 12 years of working for contractors here in Ohio I have worked as a Supervisor, estimator, foreman and electrician, Fire alarm inspector for companies. And while doing these particular jobs try to maintain the project schedule and budget concerns. Keeping a project on schedule is a challenge for anyone but with proper planning and foresight, a project can be delivered on time and on budget.
Today¡¯s Economy when completing jobs MUST be a team skills challenge, Because its not enough to generate only great sales. There has to be Skills and on going cost savings on the back side of the sales to also reduce operating cost of jobs to either have a job on target or under budget. As I successfully have done numerous times for companies and contractors.
Since Owning my business for 15 years I gained a lot of respect for the owners and other contractors. I know what it takes to bid a job, purchase the material then complete the project to satisfy the customer, for you would like repeat business from the same customer.
I currently have no interest in owning an electrical business in today¡¯s economy. So I can say this WILL NOT be a conflict of interest but only to identify that I completely understand the business and how the business needs to operate.
I would like the opportunity to show how you can put my experience to work for you.
I¡¯m excited about your company, and I look forward to contributing to your future.
Sincerely,
Daniel G Kostenbader Sr.
