Superintendent
• Primary role was to oversee concrete superstructure and post-tension slabs
• Oversee all rough-in trades to include hydronics/mechanicals, sprinklers, etc.

• Hold weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors
• Responsible for all field engineering, controls and layout
• Participated in regularly reoccurring owners’ meetings with project architects, engineers, owner representatives, interior designers, project managers and corporate executives

• Review and update construction schedule with Scheduler and Project Manager weekly
• Conduct pre-construction and pre-installation meetings with each contractor for all trades involved in each phase of a project
• Conduct job site safety meetings, inspect site for safety hazards and notify subcontractors or appropriate authority of status
• Maintain a current/updated red-lined set of plans in the office
• Maintain an adequate supply of updated blueprints for each project
• Maintain the shop drawing log showing all pertinent information. Expedite the approval process as to not delay job progress
• Maintain a precise list of all individuals, subcontractors and vendors involved with project to work in close coordination with all
• Issue observation reports noting conditions of non-compliance, with proper references

• Prepare memos and minutes for meetings associated with the project
• Monitor and document job site safety, Storm Water Pollution Protection Plan, Best Management Practices and posted notifications. Follow-up on correction of noted non-compliance by contractor

• Monitored project close-out procedures including O&M manuals, as-builds, punch lists and warranty walk-through
• Attended early morning, evening, or after-hours installations/concrete pours
• Translated for superintendents/co-workers in communication with Spanish speaking contractors.
• OSHA 30 certification, First Aid, CPR and have an excellent safety record
• Up to date with Green Building, Energy Star and other energy saving methods
• Familiar with construction trades, including chronology and methods of how and when each is involved
• Current on IBC, City, Government and Energy Star codes, Codes and Regulations applicable to design and construction, including International Building Codes, TDLR, OSHA, NFPA, ASHRAE 90.1, TCEQ, ADA and special requirements of building types
• Experienced with codes and inspections, from site work through foundations, through rough-ins, to completions; performed by the company, building department and 3rd party
• Maintain & organize on-site project documentation, including inspection & test reports, RFIs, ASIs, project change control documents
• Military project experience
• Obtain MSDS sheets from subcontractors and suppliers

• 14 years construction experience
• PC Literate: MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, etc), Power Point, Quick Books Pro, CAD, Primavera, Suretrack and Timberline
