•Certified plate welder under AWS D1.1 on 1/2" plate with E-6010 root and E-7018 fill and cap. All positions.
•Certified plate welder under AWS D1.1 on 1/2" plate with backing strip with FCAW process using .045 wire 2G and 3G (horizontal and verticle) positions.
•Certified pipe welder under ASME Section IX on 6" sch. 80 A53 Grade B pipe with E-6010 root and E-7018 fill and cap. 6G position (45 degree angle).
•Certified pipe welder under ASME Section IX on 6" sch. 80 A53 Grade B pipe with GTAW root and hot pass. E7018 fill and cap. 6G position (45 degree angle).
•Certified pipe welder under ASME Section IX on 2" sch. 80 A53 Grade B pipe with 308L stainless GTAW complete weld. 6G limited access position.
•Welded with four major welding processes: SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and GMAW.
•Welded on the following base metals: A36 Grade B, A53 Grade B, Grade 50, AR400, A106 Grade B, 300 Series stainless steel. 304 and 316 stainless steel.
•Have knowledge of welding defects, their origin and the ability to repair them.
•Have the ability to read isometric pipe drawings.
•Have the ability to figure pipe take-offs and read blueprints.

•Cut mild steel up to 1" thick into different shapes and sizes to be fitted up and welded to customer's specifications using a Tanaka 4000 watt laser.
•Work included moving large, heavy sheets of material with an overhead bridge crane and a forklift.
•When there was no work to be done on the laser, I welded out in the shop.
