I have over twenty-five years experience in directing and managing construction, safety and maintenance programs for projects from concept through new construction, and on existing faculties both on a local and national level. I have directed the supervision of facility maintenance from small strip centers to national food operation plants. This company at the time was a large commercial contractor / developer as well as the largest residential builder in Sumner County. Due to the economy situation the company is now concentrating on doing nothing but small residential projects and developments.
· Directed and managed all commercial and special construction projects for the company.
· Responsible for estimating, budgeting of work, negotiating with subcontractors and vendors as well as all RFI’s, RFP’s, and change orders for both the commercial and residential divisions.
· Oversaw the in house design team and assisted any outside design professionals to insure completion of defined scope of work, within proposed budget, and time frame.
· Did all company employee evaluations as well as evaluations on subcontractors to insure the company standards were always being met.

AMEC, Nashville, TN 2001 – 2004
Construction Manager
One of the world’s largest engineering companies with at the time, a construction management division whose clients were mainly government agencies. Projects included projects ranging from military base buildings, including hospitals and veteran homes as well as local government projects. The construction management division was closed in the spring of 2004 after the company completed the clean up of the Twin Towers and clean up and rebuilding of The Pentagon, with only some of the construction inspectors moving to the engineering division. The construction managers where given an option to continue employment with a venture between AMEC and a large worldwide construction company in projects Iraq.
· Supervised all construction personal for company division and subcontractors for Federal, State and County government projects.
· Responsible for estimating, budgeting of work, negotiating with subcontractors and vendors as well as all RFI’s, RFP’s, and final approval for change orders for both commercial and government projects
· Helped in the development and inspected all engineering plans generated in house.
· Maintained contractual obligations with clients and insured completion of the project as specified and defined by the design professionals and local codes.
· Maintained that all safety procedures by AMEC Employees and subcontractors were being carried out in the field.
· Insured the timely delivery of any and all required O & M manuals, as-built drawings, red line drawings, submittals, and warranties.
The company was involved in commercial construction and property services including new construction, leasing of existing properties and maintenance of contracted properties. I stared out with this company as hands on superintendent and worked my way up to Senior Project Manager.
· Directed construction programs for government contracts, multiple nationally known and local clients including site accusations, architectural and engineering plans.
· Developed sales leads and marketing for general construction for projects in the medical / dental office construction, schools, restaurants and tenant build outs for various nationwide companies and government military project in the southeast.
