Consulting Gasca & Associates - Consultant January 2008 – Present Energy Consultant – experience in multiple commodities such as crude oil, electricity, natural gas, natural gas liquids and propane.
Allegro Development – Principal Energy Software Consultant – Energy Trading Risk Management System solutions Consulting. Leading the development for global renewable energy & emissions solutions
Projects with experience in areas such as:
Trading and Risk Management; Wholesale NG and Power trading and contract negotiation; Retail Energy, Regulatory , Retail and Wholesale Business Start-ups and Information Systems.
Consulted energy companies that seek to enter the retail energy markets for both gas and/or power, including markets within Independent System Operators such as ERCOT, NEPOOL, NYISO, CALISO, MISO, and PJM within the electricity sector, and City Gate markets in Atlanta, Chicago, California and New York among others.

Energy Systems Consulting for Allegro Development – Energy Trading Platforms providing expert subject advice in natural gas and power logistics, Trading and Risk Management. Strong Experience as a Business Liaison between IT and Business units to develop systems in retail and wholesale platforms.
Experience with multiple natural gas pipelines and storage facilities and crude oil refinery operations and marine and pipeline transportation.
Systems: CRM Platforms, Retail Gas and Power engines, Trading Platforms such as ICE, Allegro, Gas Management Systems, nMarket, NG Pipeline EBBS.
• CRM and ETRM system selection, negotiation, implementation, integration and training. Led numerous projects, that required defining business and technical requirements, evaluating and selecting solutions with either proprietary and/or vendor software, contract negotiation for base and on-going support of software, implementation within deadlines and budget constraints, integrating system including complex interfaces and provided training to business users to further strengthen the company’s energy system capabilities.
• Project Management: Knowledge and strength to manage simple and complex projects within budget and timelines. Deep industry and IT technical knowledge with detail level knowledge to be hands-on along with process project management approach, avoiding wasted money and long timeliness.
• Executive and Compliance Reporting: Presented and supported presentations to boards and executive management in regards to budget and timelines for all projects, as well as being knowledgeable of regulatory compliance reporting.
Glacial Energy Holdings -Under Consulting Company July 2006 - January 2008 Kingwood, TX
Started as Consultant and later joined the company as Chief Operations Officer. Managed the operations for Glacial’s sole market in NY. Within six months I achieved the growth for Glacial within 34 markets across the country. Including Regulatory, Corporate Certifications, Supply, Negotiated ISO Financial requirements, created and managed the retail infrastructure that is required within the retail power business model, including operations, finance, CRM and billing system. Company increased revenues from $10 million to over $75 million in less than 2 years.
AmPro Energy LP August 2002 – July 2006 Humble, TX
As Founder and President, I was responsible to start up retail electric business in Texas. Started retail energy company with very limited financial resources and grew company from $0 to $50 million in revenue within 2 years. Managed and mentored over 80 employees.
Constellation NewEnergy, Inc August 2000 – August 2002 Houston, TX
As Vice President, was responsible for a profitable market entry. Started the Texas market and grew market from $0 to $250 Million in revenues. Responsibilities included: establishing Texas market infrastructure, hiring a team, all energy procurement and system integration as well as customer care, operations, regulatory, supply and marketing for the market. As the Texas Business Leader within AES NewEnergy, Inc, I was involved in power generation, financing and trading decisions..
Shell Energy Services, Inc September 1998 – August 2000 Houston, TX
I served as Operations Energy Manager, responsible for supply operations including trading, scheduling, supply accounting, margin management and utility operations for both gas and electricity for retail deregulated markets. Responsible for selecting, negotiated and implementing and coordinating the supply, forecasting and optimization information system. Shell decided to exit Power markets.
Occidental Petroleum- MidCon Energy -mc2 1995 – 1998 Chicago, IL
I was a member of Directorship of a start-up retail gas and electric marketing company called mc2, a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum, focusing on commercial and industrial customers in most utilities throughout New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Illinois with primary responsibility for supply, pricing, forecasting, contracts and risk management. Employee-owned company. Company sold assets.
The Peoples Gas Light & Coke Company 1993 – 1995 Chicago, IL
Started as an analyst and was promoted to Director level in various groups in the natural gas groups, including regulatory, supply and Interstate Pipeline negotiations and Trading, Transportation and Storage optimization capabilities. Promoted three times within 2 years.
BP/Amoco Oil, Inc 1987 – 1993 Chicago, IL
Started as analyst and was promoted to manager worked on various assignments such as refinery, Quality Control Management, crude oil and Natural Gas Liquids Scheduler, Trading (Initial team for Crude oil Futures), Marine and Pipeline Transportation specifically Vessel Demurrage and Crude Oil Quality Control. Successfully negotiated aged demurrage claims with various foreign energy companies.
