I have more than thirty four years of experience in the nuclear industry. During this period I was associated in various reactor physics aspect like core design, reactor commissioning, reactor experiments, irradiation experiments, operational support etc.
Presently I am head of reactor physics section and station physicist for FBTR (Fast breeder Test Reactor, India’s first sodium cooled fast reactor) and KAMINI (Kalpakkam MINI reactor)
My team has contributed two reactor physics bench marks to International Compilation of Evaluated Criticality Benchmarks (ICSBEP). We are presently working on the third one.
I am also associated in the criticality safety studies of metal fuel fabrication facility. I have good exposure to various criticality problems associated with the fuel cycle.
I am presently looking for an opportunity to use my experience in challenging areas and enrich myself with new exposure.
I am confidant that I will be able to fulfill my assignments and meet all the challenges.
