I am currently a Facility Planner/Inspector/Calibration Coordinator
And Supervisor for this Government Facility.
As a Supervisor
I am to manage the buildings and grounds maintenance Departments
to provide management of contracted maintenance personnel,
custodial services, over see tools and equipment, land resource
maintenance and property maintenance for this government site, I am responsible for all site buildings and grounds appearance and
upkeep. Review all work order priorities to ensure they are scheduled
in accordance with plant priorities and revising them as necessary.
Task manage all work to ensure it is preformed in a safe and efficient
manner. Manage custodial services to ensure plant buildings are
maintained to provide a clean and orderly environment for plant
personnel. Help develop and submit a budget and operate within
said budget.
As a Facility Planner
Monitor material requisitions and ensure delivery time frame is
satisfactory to the scheduled work, provide oversight to ensure tool
rooms provide an adequate inventory of tools and equipment for the
maintenance and modification activities. Manage and coordinate the
activities of the contractor groups to ensure all work preformed by
constructor craft personnel assigned to that organization is preformed
in a safe and efficient manner, is of acceptable quality, is on schedule
and within budget. Manage contract crafts such as Carpenters,
Electricians, Labors, Painters to provide maintenance advise to the
various crafts when needed to support the maintenance to plant office
buildings and systems, grounds and all in plant maintenance activities
as required and in keeping a good working relationship.
As an Inspector
Inspect all site buildings and grounds; inspect all utilities, (Water,
Electric, Sewage, and Communications) write work orders, prepare
work orders stating all materials, PPE and equipment needed to
perform the tasks. Write cost estimates for the governments review.
Manage all land resource maintenance to support all outside
maintenance activities and keep a well attended and landscaped
grounds, this would include mowing, weed eating, road upkeep
and snow removal.
As a Calibration Coordinator
Making sure all calibrated equipment (from torque wrenches
to gages) were in the system to be calibrated at their assigned
intervolves and to check all new equipment coming on site for
calibration needs.

I was a Heavy Equipment Operator running equipment such as
End loaders, Backhoes, Bobcats, man lifts, fork trucks from
6000 LBS to 60,000 LBS, Boom trucks, Crane trucks, Tool trucks,
Line trucks, Pulling and Tensioning units, Portable Welders/Cutting
Torches, digging up and installing utility’s such as power, electric,
Water and communication line’s, also installing and maintaining
Environmental controls, installing fence’s, gate’s, and all size’s of
Stone, keeping up on all safety meeting both plant and state and
Holding an OSHA Safety Training Card. Using shovels to back fill
ditches where equipment could not get to. Running snow blowers in
