Professional career reflects over 18 years experience in various facets of Maintenance, Operations & Commissioning of Indian Nuclear power plant. Responsibilities includes maintenance engineer. Engineer worked for aging management, procurement & inventory control in a variety of Indian Nuclear Power Plants under various phases of commissioning & operations.
CREDENTIALS AND OBJECTIVE
Awarded a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical stream from the University of North Bengal. Academic credentials have been enhanced with additional training from Nuclear Training centre, Rajasthan Atomic Power Station. Awarded as a Licensed Nuclear Operator called Control Engineer(Fuel) by the centralized regulatory body in India – Atomic Energy regulatory Board (AERB) which was subsequently enhanced by appointing as Deputy Chief Engineer (Maintenance) under Directorate of Operations in the HQ, Mumbai.
Skills and experience support a variety of roles in the Power Plant Operations in various capacities like Inventory manager, manager procurement, maintenance engineer, Production manager.
SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Implemented the outage management tools properly & maintained the healthiness of the Fuel handling components so that their must be no power reduction due to maintenance down time which is a real challenge in PHWR type of nuclear reactors
• Inventory optimization management,
• Pooled procurement of the high cost imported spares &
• Uniform material codification for providing unique identification number for the entire material inventory across the stations of NPCIL.

Time Event Achievements
1992,
Completion of training period in NTC, RAPS, graded SO/C. Sent to Narora Atomic Power Station, UP & worked in mechanical maintenance division in Fuel Handling system. Stood 4th in a batch of 34 trainees in NTC-RAPS.
September’94 Became SO/SD Achieved in 2 years as being sent as an outstanding case.
May, 1997 Transferred to Rajasthan Atomic Power Station#3&4 for commissioning. Accomplished the commissioning of all mechanical systems of Fuel handling systems within stipulated time. Promoted to grade SO/E, in 1997.
October’ 2001 Become Control Engineer (Fuel), by Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) Level-III licensing qualification was done in parallel to commissioning activities for RAPS#4.
August’05 Transferred to NAPS, inducted in feeder fabrication work under EMCCR campaign for NAPS#1. This is an aging management technique & professionals are chosen from various fields of power plant engineering. Promoted to grade SO/F
April’08-till Present Transferred to the Directorate of Operations, Headquarters of NPCIL, Mumbai. Become Deputy Chief Engineer (Maintenance) under the Directorate of Operations, NPCIL

SCHOOLING
 Passed class X th in Ist division from CBSE board (1984), Delhi.
 Passed class XII th in Ist division from CBSE board (1986), Delhi.
COLLEGE
 Passed BE (Mechanical) in first division from Jalpaiguri Govt. Engg. College (North Bengal University) in the year 1991.
HOBBIES
Playing badminton, swimming & listening music are my favorite pastime.
SALARY EXPECTED-Negotiable
At present I am getting rupees 15 lakhs gross per annum through salary plus perks. (Approx. CTC-Rs.22 Lakhs per annum).
