I have over twenty-three years of experience as a PE in civil/structural design. I want to get involved with the nuclear power field again. I have over 5 years of direct experience in the field and the office with nuclear power construction and modification, and several years field experience with other power and industrial (auto, food processing, fabrication, chemical) construction and design.
I am proficient in working with ASCE 7, IBC related codes, ACI 318, 349 & 315, and AISC 9 and 13.
I have designed a number of complete structures, including floors, beams, columns, shallow and deep foundations, walls and roofs, using concrete, steel, masonry and wood. I have used RISA, GTSTRUDL and STAAD, as well as smaller, specific design programs. I am proficient in AutoCAD, Word, Excel and MathCAD.
I believe that I have excellent oral and written communication skills, and can mentor junior engineers. I have attached a copy of my resume for your reference. I look forward to hearing about your project!
