Retaining walls, containment structures, basement walls & concrete sheet piling for multistory buildings, sumps, tanks above ground, ring walls for large tanks, concrete tunnels, trenches, paving, tilt-up walls, and bridges.
Multistory buildings, 750,000 gallon per minute pumping station, industrial frames, slabs above grade, panjoist floors, precast prestressed buildings, prestressed post tensioned buildings, prestressed bridge girders for gantry crane.

Dec. 2009 Structural Engineer
Feb. 2010 Independent Contractor, Designed a foundation for a telecommunication pole, and an equipment pad, checked a concrete pan joist roof of an office area above a multilevel parking garage & recommended solutions for repair. Designed wood houses & gazebos. Prepared a preliminary for a parking cover over an existing parking garage.
Nov. 2006 Structural Engineer
Oct. 2009 TRS, Designed pipe racks & foundations for petrochemical plants using Risa, Mathcad, foundation programs, & structural design programs such as Descon, PCA Columns & Fluor programs. I worked on Conoco Phillips, Wood River Refinery, Roxana Illinois, and BP Operation Canadian Crude, Fueled by One Whiting, Whiting, Indiana. I designed Pipe Rack Modules to withstand barge forces in the Atlantic & forces during land transportation.

-Aug 2005 TRS – for Fluor Daniel – Prepared front end cost estimates for 2 projects and designed a pre-cast elevated cooling tower for United in India. One of the Front end projects was a Citgo Environmental Project, replacing the precipitator with an SCR and large ductwork, which included a large structural frame, foundations, a pond and pipe rack modifications

-May 2001 Universal Resources Inc. - Designed 40’ high platforms & “A†frames for pipe supports on top of a 350’ high Cement Plant Structure for AMEC in Decator, Georgia, using StaadPro, & designed load bearing concrete block buildings below. The platforms provided lateral support for a passenger elevator & bucket elevator, as well as pipe, and equipment supports. Designed aluminum platforms for equipment in clean rooms at a Lucent Technology plant in Georgia for AMEC. Site engineer for GE, during construction of compressor stations in Tennessee & Ohio.

-May 1996 Brown & Root Inc. - Served in the capacities of a design engineer and a lead engineer on the Exxon Baytown Olefins Plant BCX/BOP-X Interconnecting Facilities Project. Worked with Staad III.

-Dec. 1993 Taylor Tech Service - Contracted to Quantum Chemical Company and to Art Nicholas Minas Engineers. Responsibilities: Civil engineering design and project engineering control of projects including petrochemical projects and several blast resistant structures. Analyzed input & pipestress results of a Stru-Cad computer program, and used a computer program that I developed for structural analysis & pipe stress.

-April 1992 Houston Lighting & Power. - Responsibilities: Structural engineering for plant maintenance, site engineering for major coal power and nuclear plant projects, and review of calculations and specifications for nuclear power plants. Used Staad computer program & my computer program for structural analysis. Used Staad for dynamic analysis
