Duties included: As a Staff/Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist for 4 years, my duties included training, scanning , processing, and development of all new nuclear medicine students. Planning and coordinating the work schedule. Daily, weekly, and monthly quality control was also done. Performed various nuclear medicine procedures which included: nuclear cardiology, bone scans, renal scans, lung scans, brain scans, gall bladder scans, Pacs system and assisting with PET CT procedures. Pet CT consisted of : getting a thorough medical history, checking blood sugar levels, starting iv, injecting the FDG, placing patients in a dark quiet room for one hour, positioning the patient on the scan table, some scanning and processing.
JANUARY 2000 TO OCTOBER 2003: Traveling Nuclear Medicine Technologist, numerous traveling agencies.

Duties Included: Dual isotope imaging using the ADAC Vortex dual head camera for Thallium and Cardiolite heart procedures. Also ADAC computer processing using Auto Spect Plus and Auto Quant. Daily quality control, daily reports, and patient preparation.

Duties Included: Performed numerous nuclear medicine procedures, as well as floor supervisor responsible for scheduling, organizing, supervised five to eight technologists, training students in nuclear medicine procedures, and overseeing and ensuring that the department functioned efficiently on a daily basis via proper utilization of camera and technologist time.
