SUMMARY
I have served the nuclear power industry for approximately twenty-two years. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Florida in 1986.

10/09 – Current Serving the Vice President – Licensing, Tennessee Valley Authority, to resolve various Licensing issues at the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, and Watts Barr Nuclear Plant. My tasks include, but are not limited to, the development of complex license amendment requests, defining regulatory basis, and establishing core licensing fundamentals.
12/08 – 10/09 Prepared License Application in accordance with 10 CFR 70 and foundational procedures and processes for AREVA Enrichment Services, LLC (AES) for Eagle Rock Enrichment Facility (EREF).
• 12/08 through 07/09 - Served as Acting Licensing Manager for the AES EREF. I was responsible for all aspects of licensing associated with acquiring and implementing a Materials License in accordance with 10 CFR 70. This includes managing a team responsible for preparing revisions to the License Application, resolving NRC acceptance questions and requests for additional information, coordinating NRC audits and visits, development of procedures to implement the EREF Quality Assurance Program, including Licensing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Nuclear Records procedures.
• 08/09 – 10/09 – Transitioned Licensing Manager responsibilities to the permanent AES Licensing Manager. Also, managed the development of responses to NRC requests for additional information and serving as the liaison with the industry regarding various technical issues, including the long-term disposition of depleted uranium.
12/06 – 12/08 Prepared Combined Operating License Applications (COLA) for four sites for UniStar Nuclear utilizing AREVA’s EPR Design. The plants are Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3, Bell Bend Nuclear Power Plant, Nine Mile Point Unit 3, and Callaway Unit 3.
• Served as Licensing Project Manager for the development of the License Applications for Bell Bend and Nine Mile Point Combined Operating License Applications (COLAs).
• Developed significant portions of the Calvert Cliffs, Bell Bend, Nine Mile Point, and Callaway COLAs in accordance with 10 CFR 52, and applicable regulatory guidance.
• Developed the site-specific ITAAC for the Calvert Cliffs, Bell Bend, Callaway, and Nine Mile Point COLAs. There were a large number of site-specific ITAAC to address the significant number of interface issues defined in Tier 1 of the U.S. EPR FSAR, and the site-specific safety significant structures, systems, and components.
• Represented UniStar Nuclear on various NEI task forces regarding construction issues, and Inspections, Tests, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria (ITAAC).
• Represented UniStar Nuclear on AREVA’s ITAAC Expert Panel.

The objective of this team was to ensure that the CPS' procedures adequately addressed the requirements of the plant Technical Specifications. Thereby, reducing the potential of procedure related Licensee Event Reports.
