terminal devices. I installed, operated, and maintained designed radio, wire and
battlefield automated systems and data distribution systems. I performed signal functions,
which included providing technical assistance and training for user owned and operated
automation and communication equipmesupport level intenance on a variety of electronic
fixed station and/or tactical COMSEC Cryptographic equipments used to secure telephone,
teletypewriter, radio, and data communications. I prepared maintenance and supply
request for unit level signal support. In accordance with the governing regulations,
I was responsible for records and items of dollar values. With little or no supervision,
I analyzed and ealuated gains and losses idenfified in inventory adjustment reports.
Performs duties as a logistical advisor to the commander of the unit or installation

devices, and ensured that HONEYWELL and AMETEK equipment were in proper functioning
condition and that equipment, heating, refrigeration and facilities are with specifications.

I provided logistical support, technical guidance and training to team members. I
performed management duties such as establishing work schedules and priorities, personnel
evaluations and promotions and personnel cunseling. I performed direct and general
support level maintenance of the Tow Dragon missile systems, trainers, night-sight,
batter charger and system peculiar test and checkout. Performed calibrations, inspected,
tested, and adjusted components to specific tolerance and determined shortcoming
and malfunctions in electronic, electrical, mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies,
modules and assemblies. Advises and instructs on the proper equipment operating procedures,
use of technical and supply publications/software, and the preventative and corrective
maintenance of missile systems. Assists in the development and maintenance of section
III of the garrison Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) and Mobilization Table
of Distribution and Allowances (MTDA) for assigned equipment and ensure asset levels
are consistent with authorizations. Reviews and ensures all vehicles and equipment
authorizations are current and accurately documented in the property book. Monitors
assigned equipment through on-site surveys of using activities and ongoing reviews
of historical data contained in the automated database system know as Defense Property
Accountability System (DPAS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and
property accountability. Conducts continuous review of DPAS database to ensure data
integrity and provide correction action as required. Serves as installation point
of contact for acquisition and placement of excess equipment. Screens excess listings
provided by higher command and advises installation of equipment availability, design,
usage, condition, age, etc. Coordinates responses for interest and requirements to
the equipment manager, and assists with authorization, justification, and accountability
issues for acquisition. Perform on-site visits to research equipment for the Equipment
Manager and/or Property Book Officer. Inspect and coordinate with others (transportation)
in the movement of equipment and ensure proper accountability transfer to the Property
Book Office. Operates a forklift with a 6,000 pound capacity to load, unload and
store bulky items.
