Worked with large OEM’s such as Raytheon, Stewart and Stevenson, TACOM and TARDEC on current and future applications. Instrumental in developing SBIR new final drive program worth an estimated 6.7 million dollars in three years. Orchestrated a new national part refurbishing program 50K first year with potential of growing in 3 million dollars in year two. I reported directly to the President of Cole Chemical Company. Because of my record of success in launching a profitable satellite office I was hired by Cole Chemical Company to penetrate the Midwest, Canadian and Transplant plastic and chemical arenas in which they had virtually no presence. My mission was to increase the company’s name recognition, establish contacts in the industry and significantly increase market sales and growth with the ultimate goal of managing, hiring and training additional sales personnel directing a strong and profitable satellite office. Cole Chemical sells to the Food Grade and Automotive Industry and is an exclusive distributor of Exxon/Mobil resins throughout North America and Canada. Designing new types of packaging was also part of my responsibilities. I increased the Detroit territorial sales more than 400% when I was with the company. As a direct result of my increased sales two warehouse were opened. Sales to Nissan and Toyota were established under my direction.

Automotive Industry Manager 09/88 to 3/98
Hired as the sole sales staff person in Detroit with the objective to establish Washington Penn as a viable presence in the automotive arena. My responsibilities and goals included overseeing the start up of a satellite office. I oversaw the expansion of the number of material approvals needed to be successful in the marketplace, to increase the sales volume and introduce Washington Penn’s products to/and direct the development of good business relationships with the Detroit automotive industry. As Automotive Industry Manager, I oversaw the training and supervising of the new sales staff that was added as a consequence of the growth of Washington Penn’s presence in the Detroit area. As a direct result of the growth of market share under my direction the number of material approvals went from 9 to in excess of 50. Also sales increased from less than $500,000 to well over $73 million. The Detroit automotive sales staff went from 1 to 8 person and the Detroit Automotive Sales/Technical staff became the top sales and income producer for Washington Penn, surpassing all other industry sales in a period of just under 10 years. My personal sales in 1997 was 37 million and my projected sales for 1998 was 40+ million which would have made me the number one sales person..
