To find a job in maine so that I do not have to travel 90 percent of the time away from my family. I would like a challenging career with room to grow.
Title: Engineering Positions
For the last three years I have worked as a generator field service engineer for Siemens Energy and a reliability engineer for New Page Corporation. Before that I was a recent graduate of Maine Maritime Academy and coop mechanic working for Transocean on the Deepwater Discoverer drill ship.
I enjoy working within my craft, but prefer hands on field work as well. I am very computer literate and have experience with CAD, Microsoft Office, and SAP, I also have run and been involved in many Lean Six Sigma Projects. In my current job I am very accustomed to working closely with the millwrights, and electrical trades. I have been involved in new installations, general maintenance, high and low voltage testing as well as major overhauls of generators, turbines, Marine diesels, boilers, paper machines and other associated equipment. Working with my crew is by far the most rewarding part of my current role.
I am looking for an opportunity that will provide me with a challenging and rewarding career that will allow me to expand and perfect my capabilities. I do not mind travel but with my current job I am away from home 90 percent of the time and I would like to spend more time with my wife and daughter.
Sincerely
Adam Clark
