2009 to 2010: Application Engineer, Northern Power Systems (Barre, VT)
Various Community Wind Projects
• Provided technical support to the Regional Sales Director, in terms of product technology, project site assessment, project pre-feasibility studies, available funding from the government, and any other relevant task leading to the completion of a community wind energy project by any of our channel Partners.
• Started the development of a prototype foundation system for the company’s leading wind turbine (NW100).
• Developed a training presentation for project's site assessment considerations for new Application Engineers and Channel Partners.
• Developed a presentation for the structural foundation part of the Turbine Installation Training, provided by the company to the new partner installers.
• Initiated efforts to obtain reliable wind data sources for the expansion of the business at other regions not included in the actual business market, consulting with the National Weather Station at the international airport, universities and other meteorological sources.
• Initiated efforts to introduce the mid-size community wind and company’s product (NW100) in Puerto Rico, for all Latin-America region.
2008: Construction QA/QC Manager, Jacobs Engineering (Greenville, SC)
Coffeyville Resources (Coffeyville, KS): Expansion of a nitrogen fertilizer plant.
• Developed the Construction Quality Program for the specific project, based on the company’s procedures and policies.
• Implemented the Quality program at the project site with the subcontractors of all trades.
• Surveyed constantly all the work in progress for compliance with all the contract documents, safety and top quality.
• Periodically audited the subcontractor’s QC personnel in order to verify the correct revision of their construction documents and their documentation completeness.
• Witnessed the material and different mechanical and electrical systems testing.
• Prepared final quality reports to the PM as part of the closeout project documentation.
2003 to 2006: Design Project Manager, DSC Architects & Engineers
Various Projects (mainly pharmaceutical)
• Planned, organized and directed proficiently several different medium-sized projects.
• Verified and monitored continuously the scope of work, schedule and project cost, as well as the clarity and quality of the final designs from the different trades (architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical).

Pharmacia & Upjohn Caribe (Arecibo, PR): New pharmaceutical production area and new fully-automated main warehouse for the plant.
• Reviewed and coordinated all the Civil/Structural/Architectural (C/S/A) drawings, specs, addenda, submittals, requests for information (RFI), change proposals, change orders (CO), and any other construction related document.
• Coordinated with the subcontractors, and performed inspection of the C/S/A works, for compliance with contract documents, for safety and for top quality control.
• Witnessed all the soil compaction, concrete, HVAC, piping and grounding systems testing.
• Strong interaction with the designers, personnel from the other trades (PM and subcontractors) and plant personnel.
• Performed analysis, evaluation and resolution of drawings, specs or site discrepancies or any other situation, with the corresponding individual or team.
• Performed inspection of the site CES plan.
• Prepared the monthly reports for EBQ and ARPE.
